It felt very relaxing cause it was small inside. The waitress was very pleasant with us. I would definitely recommend to someone if they are out that way. I'll definitely will be back!

I got the Reuben and it was the best one I've ever had and I have had a lot of them. Pretzel bun and the meat was great quality and had been charred on the grill. My wife had a fried chicken sandwich which was good as well.

Normally don't have a problem but seems like service was slow this time. I think there was just a waitress. And my medium steak came out as a well done steak.

Excellent food and service

The Mom's meatloaf was excellent! The food is always great and the owners and staff are always so friendly!

The owners are haughty, condescending, and just generally not good people. The food is basically what is served in elementary schools.

The food was absolutely delicious. The only down side to our experience was our server. We were the only people there for a solid 10 minutes and were only talked to once for drink order. The waitress didn't start really working until more people showed up. The place is also small so there is limited seating. Even though the experience wasn't the best the food made up for it. I will give it another shot just for the food.

I love it. By the time we ride from L-burg to the HJ I'm ready for a cold beer. The food is pretty good and the excellent service can be attributed to Bartender/Waitress Amanda. She makes the stop a fun time. If I was to stop and she not be there I would just hop back on the bike and head South.New post: Stopped at the Honey Jug this year and I'm sorry (for me) to say that Amanda has moved on. The young lady tending bar was nice and polite and I wasn't disappointed but, when I'm out on my bike barhoppin and feeling a bit rowdy, I like to feel that the people around me are feelin it too.Don't know what it is about MCs that make me feel that way? I don't think it's the alcohol? Probably the noise?

The Honey Jug is small and rustic and the atmosphere is friendly and homey. I had the fish dinner which was generous portions and very good. I hope I get a chance to go back & try something else on the menu, the tenderloin next, I think. I just wish the floor had been swept. Then I could give them all 5 stars.
